the guide brought us to try one of their famous dish "BABI GUILING"! yah.. babi is PIG!!! ... Babi Guiling is suckling pig!!! Surprise right.. hahahaa the guide explained.. in Bali, most ppl here are Hindu not Muslim.. tts y they consume pig and not cow

This shop only roast 5 piglet per day.. closed at 1pm.. gd biz

The suckling pig! heng we order one portion only!!! not as nice as i expected!!! Chinese Suckling pig is much much crispy, tender, juicy, not so salty and not so oily!!! maybe the Malay are just not very good in pig?! i know cook chicken very well...

There was a little bridge linked to i suppose to be their house~ didn't dare to step in.. so i went to their balcony instead~ guess what.. wow they have a rice paddy field facing their house~ nice hor!!! cfm smell very nice during harvest season...

Second Stop: Silver Making Factory

We viewed the process of silver making~Lady melting and crafting the silver.. Indonesian art and crafting are good!!! some of those silver are super small and fine~

Very humid n hot~ quite dangerous too!! hard money~

Another area.. Wash and Polishing~

Most of the rings are for local market i guess.. very Indonesian/traditional Chinese style.. we saw alot of those Big "ah peh" rings that day

They also have alot of metallic steel and bronze sculpture around~ i like their idea of mixing steel and stone, bronze and wood.. these combination looks really creative and great..

Day 2 was a guided tour~ Ino's mummy got us a Korean tour * i couldn't understand.. haiz* anyway guide tour was cheap!! only abt $100 for 1 whole day of guide trip *believe English guide tour should be even cheaper?!*

First Stop: Pearl Centre~ This wasn't according to plan.. we happen to pass by this pearl centre so went ahead to take alook~ Seashells with half grown pearl~

We stayed in Mecure Kuta Bali

Indonesia Bali Trip (Day1)

Inho mummy brought us to Bali this time we visit Indonesia :) Traffic in Jakarta was still as bad~ we took 4 plus hr to reach home from airport~ *maybe becoz it is CNY eve?!*

Korean also celebrate lunar new year like us... but they do it more quietly? not very sure.. unlike our culture we usually have our whole family tree gathered together to have luxurious steamboat/seafood *to indicate fat harvest*, happening cny count down party on tv, horoscope new year forecast on tv, poker/mj till 2-3am in the morning, noise noise and noise!!! =)

This cny over in Ino house is rather quiet, i tried their Korean cny cuisine.. TokGu *rice cake soup* and Chapjae *a thicker version of our Chinese Dang Hun* very simple compared to our feast~ *mei you cny de mood*

Day2: took off from Jakarta to Bali (1.5hr flight)... guess what~ their best domestic airline is ... GARUDA AIR!!!! wow.. look at how well they maintain the aircraft *pointing above.. got the paint got chipped off some more* and to my horror.. this flight is much more expensive than our flight from SG to Jakarta. This domestic flight alone cost US$270 and our international flight with tax cost only$300 SGD (Qatar Air)!!! super expensive!!! i think i fly in from SG is even cheaper~

Street of Bali... Felt much safe here! i can see alot of ang mo and tourist walking around on the street unlike Jakarta.. Feel good :)

We went to the busiest area in Bali~ Angelina even say Kuta is known for drink till you drunk!! Haha Beach in Kuta is too crowded!! abit like east coast -_-" cant really relax here... if you are going to Bali head to Uluwatu *the place i visited on the 2nd day* great view

In a super high end batik lace shop~ a dress ino's mum spotted there cost abt $400!! we call them the "DUKTIN boutique" (TaiTai in Malay)

Crazy Helmet 90000Rp.. bought one w/o the spike for my didi as display souvenirAs for dinner we had Seafood basket.. Abt $10 only.. seafood there is cheap.. probably becoz it's near the sea.. but i wouldn't say it's very very tasty.. haven't really tasted very yummy food in indo~ maybe my tongue is too spoiled~

Dragonball Evolution & Street Fighter

Ever saw how funny Angmo cosplay was? here' two.. done professionally!!! Dragonball EvolutionTrailer It's a japanese comic but the cast are angmo n cheena~ ??!! somehow it's not very right~Street Fighter The legend of Chunli!! another wierd one... where you can see a 21 century US chunli whom can fight guns!!! "iron women" ... p.s. some famous cast inside are from desperate housewife =)

Movie Mania

Red Cliff 2... Luv 3 guo movie~ just dun like the idea of kakeshi being Zhu Ge Liang.. after all still a great show! 5 stars movie

Slumdog Millionaire... the film that sweep alot of the golden globe award back to India~ coming to sg cinema soon but i think most sources are available online~ in fact prob due to the award nomination alot of these new films has been leaked!!! =p anyway i watch this in indo~ its nice.. very different from normal bollywood movie.. more favour of Hollywood~ =) *yeap there is no dancing and no coconut trees* very very good show.. 5 star movie

Another award nominated film.. Angelina Jolie's Changeling! a show abt hw women fights for Justice in the 1920s against corrupted LAPD... if u are looking for the usual sexy angie here.. u will be disappointed... she cried 80% in the show, eyes 90% puffy thru out the show.. 4 Star movie

Angie Hubby's Brad Pitt new show.... also another award nominated show.. Benjamin Button!!! talked abt this show earlier in some post back.. a show abt a boy who was born old and grow younger.. nice story very original and touching!!! 5 star movie!!!! a really must watch show this season.. and its 2hr40min long~ ;)
